Swallow Cottage, Auldgirth - north of Dumfries.

Swallow Cottage was lovingly converted by Steve and Sarah from McMurdoston's old granary in 2014 and provides a wonderfully peaceful place to stay while exploring Dumfries and Galloway. The cottage is only 20 minutes drive from a 24-hour supermarket, a cinema and numerous eateries, but once you get here you'll feel as if you are truly in the middle of nowhere. We live just across the yard if you need us and we'll do everything we can to make your stay comfortable, relaxing and quietly memorable.

Deluxe glamping pod in private garden in rural South West Scotland. No noisy campsite interference. Children welcome but need supervision in garden as we have a pond and stream. Double bed, small Sofabed, bedding/towels, shower, toilet, hob, kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave, table, stools. TV, Wi-fi. Patio table/chairs, BBQ/firepit. Washing machine. Our off-grid Shepherd's Hut offers a peaceful retreat on the edge of a working farm. Set on the banks of Loch Patrick in SW Scotland, our shepherds hut sleeps two, has a wood burning stove and beautiful views. Our eco-friendly hut offers an opportunity to completely switch off and enjoy a slower pace of life. Enjoy watching the sunrise from the decking, star gazing at the fire pit or while away the days watching the wildlife, you will not be disappointed by the tranquillity of our location.

Stunning 3-Bed Rural Cottage

Prince’s Cottage is the old Shepard’s house and was originally made for the Prince Family. A 3 bedroom cottage that has been renovated and has the most amazing views. It is nestled just off the dead-end road that goes up the glen. It has its own little garden which is great for a dog to run around, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you need to make a feast after a day outside and when you are done you can sit by the log burner to play games at the end of the day.

Mary Queen of Scot's chamber at Neidpath Castle is perhaps the most romantic place to stay in the Scottish Borders. Explore privately the whole castle and then retire to enjoy your suite rooms. The antique four poster bed, deep roll top bath and open fire evoke earlier times, but are truly comfortable and luxurious. An elegant table is set for breakfast. Peebles is 10 minutes walk away, with a host of shops and restaurants, as well as a museum and award winning chocolatier.

Charming chalet in peaceful rural location.

Our chalet is in our large, well managed garden. While it is near our house and we are happy to chat, we always respect peoples privacy. This is a very peaceful place where you can sit outside and watch the flames of the fire pit at night or stay in and have a cosy evening. Our neighbours are all of the four legged variety so some countryside noises are to be expected but the cows love to come and greet you at the wall. Parking space in garden

Welcome to our idyllic riverside cottage. Nestled in the picturesque Dumfries & Galloway countryside and set on the banks of Cairn Water. The area is rich with wildlife. Red squirrel, deer, kingfisher, woodpecker, red kite, buzzard and otter are just a few of the local visitors spotted from our garden. Stepford Station Cottage is the perfect cosy retreat for nature lovers. We welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs at no extra fee.

The Old Schoolhouse

A Victorian Schoolhouse, now a cozy and stylish home. The Old Schoolhouse has 3 bedrooms, shower room & en suite bathroom. Wood stove in the lounge, open fire in the kitchen, and central heating. Light, bright, with a large garden looking onto the fields beyond- snowdrops in the spring, cherries in summer, and apples in autumn. The occasional escapee hen wandering about. The perfect place for a proper holiday.
