Unfortunately no dogs/children/ infants are allowed as we are a working sheep farm & surrounded by water. Truly luxurious holiday accommodation in a tastefully converted byre, set in a tranquil, rural location, but ideally located for all that the south- west has to offer. The cottage is beautifully presented with hard wood floors and finishes throughout, including a wood-burning stove in the spacious living room, sumptuous beds chosen for their quality and comfort, and fully equipped to make a superb holiday cottage. The local area boasts stunning beaches, beautiful country walks & for mountain bikers the 7 Stanes world class mountain biking centres.

The cottage provides the ideal base to enjoy the many cultural and outdoor activities available in the area. Plenty of lovely walks, sailing, fishing, wild life and great night skies. Perfect to kick back and relax after a day of exploring the many attractions and scenery. parking is available.

Brigston Cottage is one of the oldest in the hamlet. It is centrally located in the heart of Dumfries and Galloway Ideal for exploring the whole area.This is a non pet property.

Charming chalet in peaceful rural location.

Our chalet is in our large, well managed garden. While it is near our house and we are happy to chat, we always respect peoples privacy. This is a very peaceful place where you can sit outside and watch the flames of the fire pit at night or stay in and have a cosy evening. Our neighbours are all of the four legged variety so some countryside noises are to be expected but the cows love to come and greet you at the wall. Parking space in garden

2 king size bedrooms, one ensuite with a further 2 single beds and wc on the mezzanine level. A bathroom with shower over the bath. Fully furnished kitchen with washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher. We have a dog secure garden and a shed to lock bikes in. We are between 10/30 mins from 3 of the 7stanes cycling trails and 6 miles from several beaches or hills for walking. You are 5 mins drive away from the market town of Castle Douglas.

Stepford Station Cottage is the perfect cosy retreat for nature lovers. We welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs at no extra fee.
