Sleep at the Stables- A Country Retreat

Enjoy our country getaway on 130 acres, just minutes from Clarkson University, SUNY Potsdam, St. Lawrence University and SUNY Canton. Explore our horse barn, hiking trails, stream, or relax by the pond. We are located close to great snowmobiling and skiing trails also! The studio apartment is located above a newly constructed garage, that is not attached to our house so you have plenty of privacy. It is an open layout with a queen bed, a daybed, and a twin trundle that can be pulled out.

Village apartment near SLU

Enjoy being easy walking distance to St. Lawrence University and main street. The efficiency apartment has a full kitchen and cozy combined bedroom and seating room with a view over the deck and backyard where a BBQ is available. The entrance from the deck is private and separate from the main house where I live with two quiet dogs on a friendly street. The apartment is 20 m walking/5 m driving to SUNY Canton and 15 m driving to Potsdam. There are also trails and two golf courses nearby.

Enjoy our 160 acres in a private natural setting. Owls, trout, heron, osprey, mergansers and the occasional loon will add to your stay. There are over 4 miles of private trails for hiking along the river and in the woods. Kayaks & fishing poles provided. Enjoy a romantic riverside fire-pit, professional massage table & new Finnish wood fired sauna. We sanitize everything 110% before your arrival and offer self check in. We celebrate diversity and welcome people from all communities.

The Loft3-Near Clarkson, SLU & SUNYs - Modern

At our clean and comfortable Loft suite, you will find yourself close to the colleges and downtown activities, while staying in a country setting on six acres of land, beautiful trees, dark, star-lit nights, and we have a swing set in the backyard. You will enjoy a completely private unit with its own private entrance and no shared spaces at all. Clarkson University is close enough to see from the property. Captain’s Quarters at Water’s Edge

A sweet spot right on the lake/river in the heart of the far north Ny! Great space for a couple or single, whether for a long term stay or a short vacation! A good fit for elderly guests with the handicap whirlpool and 4’ shower. The main bedroom is on the first floor! There are also two private bedrooms upstairs. Waterfront property on Arbuckle Pond with views of water from all windows and access to the private pond and Higley Flow. This cottage nestled in the (practically black fly free) woods will delight your family and friends. Swimming, kayaking, SUP-ing, nordic skiing, snowmobiling, and hiking. Kayak and swim right from the cottage or walk across the road to the dock on Higley. You will delight in the beauty inside and outside of this beautiful space.

A private entrance to apartment on 2nd fl. (above a garage). Comfortable for up to 4 people; clean & well-maintained with all the needed amenities; makes for an easy stay. The space is dog friendly (prior approval required). Outdoor yard space on property is limited use (weather permitting). Also a quick walk to SLU campus & downtown Canton or trek across town to SUNY Canton.

The Coop at Laing Family Farm

The Coop at LFF is a small and cozy cottage that sits on our 220 acre certified organic farm. It has a small kitchen and living area, bedroom and full bath. There is Roku TV and Free WIFI. Enjoy hiking, snowshoeing or cross country skiing the trails around our farm. Relax in the rocking chairs on the porch as you enjoy your morning coffee or stargaze at night.
