Drive or cycle through the other villages on the charismatic Black & White Trail and walk Offa’s Dyke at Kington. Finish the day at The Bells Inn, a cosy country pub just one mile away

Tucked into its own pocket of woodland, Birch Tree Cabin is a secluded retreat set in its own private garden, within the host’s own acre and a half of organic herb gardens and orchard. There's no Wi-Fi here — and that's rather the point. This is somewhere to leave the screens behind, wake to birdsong, spend the evening by the wood burner, and let the pace slow right down. There are views of the Malvern Hills from the bedroom, and walks from the door into a network of rural footpaths and woods.

For walkers a wealth of forest trails that will guide you through the forest, take in the sculpture trail or simply take a stroll along the river Wye.
