Watch the sunset from the backyard patio, spend the afternoon kayaking on the beautiful 1000's Island waters or fishing from the newly built 65ft dock. The water is clear and clean, perfect for swimming and water activities. Very clean shoreline (no weeds). It's a beautiful, peaceful and private place.

For rainy or cold days, there is plenty to do indoors.There is also a treadmill and weights if you want a workout, and lots of games! If you are looking for the finer things things in life, you can enjoy the luxuries of our deep tissue, Swedish massage chair, our electronic recliner couches, the 55” RoKu tv, or just relax in the jacuzzi whirlpool tub. Welcome to Riverside Retreat! Just a short walk from Gouverneur’s Main Street, this charming apartment is the ideal spot for outdoor enthusiasts. Enjoy fishing and kayaking with public access across the bridge. Grill is also available upon request. The kitchenette is fully equipped for your cooking needs and stocked with light snacks to enjoy during your stay. As the owners, we live downstairs and are available if needed. Though we share the same building, your privacy is our top priority.

Bear Hill One Room Cabin with Hot Tub

Unplug during your trip in the middle of the woods, tiny rustic one room cabin with hot tub sits in Little John Forest and borders the Boylston snowmobile trail system Perfect for snowmobiling and 4 wheeling. Acres of state land for hunting. Cabin is 22 miles from the Salmon River in Pulaski NY. Sleeps 2 with a queen bed. There is a sofa bed. Equipped with electricity, running water,WIFI. A bathroom with shower. Bring charcoal for the grill or cook right over the fire with the grid!

Peaceful Getaway

Kick back and relax in this peaceful space. Guest house has two twin beds, private bathroom, microwave, toaster, Keurig, small refrigerator. WiFi access, outdoor grill with outdoor dining and seating area all under a 16x24 pavilion. This property offers incredible views, fish jumping and canoe and kayak access. The Chez Heron. A small gothic castle in Chaumont

The Chez Heron was built in 1872 out of local limestone and was made to resemble a small Gothic castle. It is nationally registered as a historical structure. It is set up for 1 couple looking for a peaceful getaway. Full kitchen. We will have a bottle of champagne chilling for you .We have an outside Hot Tub and Fire area for you to relax and enjoy. Located within the vilage of Chaumont and walking distance to several local businesses.
