The Hacienda del Sol is a Historic Bed and Breakfast built in 1804. The Hacienda was Mabel Dodge Lujan and Tony Lujan's first home together in Taos. Guests that have stayed at our Inn included Georgia O'Keefe, Ansel Adams, Willa Cather, DH Lawrence, etc. We have two big beautiful lawns in the back of our Inn with clear sunset views of Taos Mountain. We serve a delicious Gourmet Free Breakfast. The Love Apple, (A+ restaurant), shares our driveway and is walking distance for dinner.

You will have: a king bed, A/C, kitchenette(not a full kitchen) for morning coffee, nearby museum & walking trails. A perfect location for exploring. The owners are former hotel/restaurant owners who love to share their love of Taos.

The Rock Art Retreat

A gorgeous estate full of colorful artwork and Native American petroglyphs inside private garden walls. This sprawling adobe home is surrounded by hundreds of acres of undeveloped land. It was built in the early 1800s by Spanish settlers and over time has been stunningly remodeled. Quixote’s Canyon is named as an homage to its Spanish history and the metal sculpture of famed Spanish literary character, Don Quixote, (yes, the windmill fighting guy) who welcomes you at the entrance.

Wildrose Room

Located 2 blocks from Taos Plaza with a daily gourmet breakfast. Wildrose is a cozy second floor micro-queen room with thick adobe walls, kiva fireplace, high ceiling, and view of the historic La Loma Plaza. This small room features a custom mural and is painted in subtle pinks, accented with willow stick shutters and matching headboard. The vanity adjoins the bedroom with two steps leading up to the Mexican tiled bath with tub/shower. Pets are not allowed in this room.

Breathtaking views of sacred Taos Mountain by day and the lights of Taos Village by night. A perfect location, 7 minutes to Taos Historic Plaza and 25 minutes to Taos Ski Valley. #8 is a large and beautiful place on 3.5 acres with mountain views in every direction. We have a large 3-car detached garage. We have 4 Master BR suites and 2 living rooms, each with sofas and a sofa-bed. 6 TV's and 3 fireplaces (4 counting the fire-pit in the back) Beautiful private dining room and another dining table outside (weather permitting). It's at Taos Country Club and 24 miles from Taos Ski Valley. Welcome!
