Postal Lodge - our one-off wooden shack…

This is our wooden shack, hidden away in our little corner of Norfolk. Stay here and share some of the country idyll that we love. This is a peaceful, remote position, and we treasure the space, nature and peace we’re surrounded by - and hope you will too. The Shack has been built, fitted and furnished using up-cycled, re-cycled, reclaimed, new, old, vintage, shabby, retro, re-purposed or anything different or quirky. We’re constantly adding to it. No telly. Limited WiFi. Time out, guaranteed.

Newly built in a tranquil setting, the light-filled, open-plan lodge has three double bedrooms (Standard Double bed) + room with (Double) sofa bed (all en suite with showers and 2 also with baths), underfloor heating and a balcony terrace with panoramic views. Good road links to the many attractions Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire have to offer. Fully equipped for you to enjoy a self catering break whether here on holiday, working or visiting family/friends. There are a number of places close by whether it's whisky tasting, watching the activities at Snetterton race track to walking & biking there is something for everyone .

There is a separate bedroom, bathroom & a second seating area which can be converted to a small double bed upon request.

A Duke's spectacular grand folly -The Temple

This spectacular folly was originally built as a banqueting house for the 2nd Duke of Grafton in 1746 and still affords breathtaking views over the unspoilt Capabilty Brown designed parklands and gardens of one of the country’s great estates.

The Loft is situated on the edge of Stanton village in West Suffolk. Close to Bury St Edmunds - 15 mins by car, Cambridge - 45 mins by car or train from B St E, Stowmarket - Train station is 20 mins, London - Direct from Stowmarket by train, Aldeburgh - 45 min drive and many other coastal areas. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and furry friends (pets).
