In response to the shutdown, chef-owner Tai Spendley began offering takeout at his tucked-away Vietnamese-American gem for the first time in the restaurant’s six-year history. That meant the nightly crowds that used to line up for a chance at a table were replaced by a parking lot filled with equally committed customers grabbing curbside pickup as the dining room stayed shuttered. The restaurant is still going the takeout-only route for now (with plans to reopen onsite dining with full service after a summer hiatus), rotating in specials along with signature fan favorites including the crunchy Jasmine tea leaf salad, pork belly fried rice, and crispy turmeric cod.

Small Vietnamese inspired restaurant. Delicious and refreshing food in the heat. Always a wait- get there early!
