The worst thing about Chatterbox is the best thing about Chatterbox: It’s 22 miles away. It’s a great dive bar in Covina, an LA suburb close enough for the scene’s biggest comedians to visit and far enough away for them to relax, experiment, and have fun with an audience that feels free of the pressures of having industry types sitting and judging. Bartenders Travis and Steve make an amazing drink called Strawberry Fields out of house-infused strawberry vodka, homemade ginger beer, fresh lime juice, and mint.
