穏の座

This cafe is run by an Akasaka geisha. The space is very lovely, with a traditional Japanese-style sitting space and a counter. The owner occasionally holds music recitals, Japanese storytelling events, and even a hosted tea ceremony now and then. By day, it’s a Japanese cafe, and by night, it’s a bar, but entry in the evening is by introduction only. So, unless you’re able to get an introduction, be sure to visit before she closes the doors at 4 pm.
