Situated in the centre of Ambleside, surrounding by the stunning fells of the Lake District, The Unicorn Inn is the quintessential traditional Lakeland public house which for over three hundred years has provided a platform from which locals and tourists can get a 'real' feeling of this beautiful area. A family run business with our current tenants still going strong after 22 years, the vibrant lifestyle of this pub has created a strong character which is inescapable from the moment you twist the big, brass knob and step through the hardwood door frame into the cosy comfort of Ambleside's oldest licensed establishment. An impressive menu of lovingly prepared, home cooked food and pride ourselves on our selection of drinks to match every palate for which our five Robinson's ales are the perfect flagship. Amongst our biggest attractions are our three nights of live music every week, which showcases some of the finest local talent and entertainment for all kinds of listeners.
