Cheap and cheerful Chinese restaurants nearby (7 minutes drive) near the corner of Dominion Road and Balmoral Road. I would park the car in Wiremu Street but be mindful the area can be busy for parking. There are plenty of places to select from including Barilla Dumplings, Cinta Malaysian, Golden…

This is the closest big supermarket (Countdown) and we love to eat cheap dumplings and noodles at the MANY Asian restaurants. You can still get dumplings at 4am! There are also second hand shops, dentists, a post office, hardware store and much more.
