The Burke Gilman Trail meanders from Issaquah to Seattle--about 35-40 miles. Hike or Bike, several pit stops along the way. Thru wetlands, along Lake Sammamish and the Sammamish Slough--there is even great dining along the way but no till Woodinville. Bike is best if you want to go distances.
Winding 27 miles through many of Seattle’s notable northern neighborhoods—such as Ballard, Fremont, and the University District—the Burke-Gilman Trail is a cyclist’s delight, offering uninterrupted pedaling past spectacular scenery.
