The Columbia River Gorge is 80 miles long and boasts incredible views from the WA and OR side. The largest national scenic area in America. There are many hiking trails and viewpoints with views of waterfalls, cliffs and nearby Mount Hood. There is nowhere else like it in the world and it will not dissapoint!

A lot of day hiking trails and waterfalls, but a drive to get out there. You must check out Edgefield Mcmenamins on the way back!
