The Quarry is used for various events throughout the year, including the well known annual Shrewsbury Flower Show. It has also been used as a live music venue with the likes of Jools Holland.

The Quarry is less than 10 minute's walk from the Annexe, and is a great for a gentle stroll or to go for a run. It also has a beautiful ornamental garden - the Dingle, with lakes and fountains. When Mike and I got married we walked through the Quarry on the way to the venue and stopped for some great shots at the Dingle.

Our beautiful park alongside the loop of the River Severn is a wonderful place to walk and cycle, people watch or watch the activities on the river from rowing to SUPing. You can also hire canoes here.

There is nothing quite like it. In the summer sometimes you can see cows and sheep in a town centre park. That has got to be a first.
