Parks & Nature

The Table Mountain Aerial Cableway Company has been providing visitors with a world-class experience since October 4, 1929. The company operates in a National Park and World Heritage Site. The mountain’s magnetism has a way of drawing people in, compelling them to reach the summit. But getting to the top was not always the effortless trip it is today.

Lion's Head is well-known for its amazing views of the city of Cape Town and Table Bay on the one side and then views of the Atlantic shoreline on the other side, which makes the hiking trip worth the effort. The hike to the top of Lion's Head is quite the challenge, so it is not recommended for the unfit or the elderly. Those who love hiking and photography are encouraged to take on the challenge and enjoy the beautiful views from the top.

One of Cape Town's biggest tourist attractions, the Waterfront evokes images of the early activities of the harbour. Much of its charm lies in the fact that this busy commercial harbour is set in the midst of a huge entertainment venue with pubs, restaurants, specialty shops, craft markets, theatres and movies.
