Reminds me of Italian restaurants Greenwich Village in NYC. Pretty bar area with cozy booths. Dining room is nice. Good Italian food. Can get noisy. They also have outdoor sideway seating.

Nice bar inside. Small indoor dining area. Big outdoor seating area under the trees. Great baked goods, coffees, teas. Big breakfast menu, good salads, sandwiches etc. You order inside, then sit outside. No waiters.

Beautiful park not too far away. Huge old oak tree forest with camelia trees of all kinds under the canopy. They bloom late winter, early spring. Big rose garden, streams, pond, native plant area. Beautiful views of the mts. Love it.

The museums and galleries are great. But I love the gardens of all kinds. Especially the cactus garden. Varieties from all over the world and very mature.

I love Griffith Park. Miles of trails for hiking or biking. I often go on night hikes with the Sierra Club or Los Angeles Hiking group (meetup). There is the train museum. The Observatory, The Zoo is in a lovely setting winding through the hills. There are tennis courts, golf courses. The Autry Western museum. And the views are stunning!

The Observatory, The Zoo is in a lovely setting winding through the hills. There are tennis courts, golf courses. The Autry Western museum. And the views are stunning!

The Lake is actually a reservoir that is empty. They plan to make it more natural with water and plants. But there is a walking/running path around it. It's in a nice neighborhood.
There is a dog park too and recreation center with basketball court, children's playground.
