The Prairie Home

Settled far out in the Tallgrass Prairie of the Flint Hills, the Prairie Home provides wide and endless views from a private hilltop. All rooms in the home, which was built by local craftsmen from native limestone blocks, have huge windows which frame the natural art of the prairie. Handmade woodwork complements the extensive interior stonework. The soaring ceilings provide a backdrop for original art collected by the owners. This unit is at the second floor. To get access to the room, you need to go through a long stairway. Ideally not recommended for anybody with super heavy luggage. We do not have elevator. We invite anyone who is "cowboy curious". This is not a "Disney" experience... frankly the farm "stay" isn't for everyone! Occupancy limited to online reservation.
