The Whistle House

Be Our Guest at The Whistle House our building was built in 1906. It was home to Whistle Soda Bottling Company. We have renovated the apartment in the building. Relax and Enjoy! We have WIFI, 2 Smart TV's among everything else you could need. Katy depot is .08 miles for Katy trail riders. We are close to downtown, Ozark Coffee is .05 miles, Lamy building .03 miles which has Bistro No. 5 & Bar, Foundry 324 Event Center. We would love for you to stay with us. Billy & Christene Meyer.

The lake is a popular fishing destination for crappie, largemouth bass, hybrid stripers, catfish, as well as some of the Nation's finest snagging for spoonbill paddlefish. The surrounding area (110,000 acres) provides plentiful & diverse opportunities, including hiking, horseback riding, golfing, biking, bonfires, bird watching, off-road vehicle adventures, & some of the best hunting in the country.

Located 5 min from Warsaw and a short distance from other area attractions, this spacious home has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and accommodates 15 guest. It comes with fully equipped kitchen, coffee bar, TV, washer/dryers, bbq, covered deck, private drive w/carport. It also comes with free access to the boat ramp close by, kayaking and use of our private covered dock. Boat rental available.

Whether you are here for the Fair, passing thru on the trail/highway, or are a contract worker, come stay and rest at our place. We are conveniently located 0.5 miles from the entrance to the fair as well as the Katy trail. We have a cozy 2 bedroom 1.5 bath unit with a 70” tv that can fit 4 individuals comfortably. Hungry? We are located 1 block away from Sonic, Subway, two Mexican and a Chinese restaurants. McDonald’s, Burger-King, TacoBell, Dominoes and Pizza Hut are less than a mile away.

We are also by Lake of the Ozarks, so visit Truman Dam while your here! Put your boat in 1/2 mile away at Thibaut Point Boat Ramp for Truman and 7 miles for Lake of the Ozarks. This cozy cottage in the woods (completed in June 2017) is perfect for a couple seeking a romantic getaway, enjoying a honeymoon, or celebrating an anniversary. (The sofa is a full convertible bed, if others plan to share the 400+ sq. ft. space.) Located in the Lake Hill (formerly Shadow Lake) Golf Course neighborhood (course is currently closed) about a mile from the NW shores of beautiful Pomme de Terre Lake, and about 6 miles south of Lucas Oil Speedway.
