Enjoy locally roasted coffee on the screened porch, s'mores by the fire pit & dinner under the pergola. Cook in the semi custom kitchen. Sleep on comfy queen beds w/ soft cotton sheets. Enjoy pickle ball (use our set!) at Tuxedo Park. Walk/bike around beautiful Lake Summit. Flat Rock: 3 miles, Hendersonville: 8 miles, Travelers Rest: 22 miles, Asheville: 35 miles. Ride Rock Creek Bike Park: 7 miles. Well-mannered pets are welcomed, they will love the fenced-in yard.

The Happy Red Cabin

I'm a small cabin located in a wonderful setting with other houses on gravel roads. My owners put their hearts and souls into my creation. I have 2 BR's & BR's, great room, kitchen, W/D, 2 porches, patio and a fire pit. Located 2.5 miles from Saluda, NC - a delightful small WNC town. I'm up the hill from a small private lake *as of 2026 temporarily drained for repairs* NO WI-FI, weak cell. Guest pass for lake property provided. Sorry, NO PETS or SMOKING.

Cabin on Walnut Cove

Our recently restored cabin is located 15 minutes from downtown Hendersonville and 12 minutes from DuPont State Forest. This is a great home base for adventures in both Henderson and Transylvania counties. Beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. A stay at our cabin is a great opportunity to enjoy rural life in Western NC. Pretty Place Chapel is about 35-40 minutes away.

Built in 1979 by Greg and his amazingly talented family (I helped a little), a family that has lived in this area for generations. Each stone in the floor to ceiling fireplace was selected and hauled from nearby creek! The house is sitting on a hillside, so you can enjoy beautiful sunrises and winter views from the front deck.
