We feel that the best way to describe our getaway to be “Rustic Elegance”. When you walk through the door you will instantly feel the warmth of a uniquely styled Adirondack cottage. Located nearby to the Acadia Highway (aka Route 1), we are close by to historic Fort Knox, Castine, and Acadia. Enjoy our attached “Greenhouse” which has been made over into a delightful screenhouse/patio, the country setting, blueberry fields, and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets! Fire pit, horseshoes, more!!!

Merrymeeting Midcoast Cabin

RUSTIC-no running water! cabin perfect for exploring all mid-coast Maine has to offer: 3 hours from Boston or Acadia, 1 hour to Portland and Maine’s gorgeous beaches. 10-30 minute drive to Hiking, swim spots, farm-stands, nationally recognized dairy farms, breweries, restaurants. 5 minute walk from a pickleball court. Stargaze in the hammock by campfire, Grill dinner, check out local tide charts to float in canoe or kayak on the Eastern river. Wood fired oven can be rented for additional fee.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway at the end of a quiet country lane on 20 waterfront acres. The restored 1850 farmhouse is surrounded by old stone walls, perennial gardens and over 300 dahlias grown in raised beds. Take a stroll down the woods road to a dock on Lermond Pond. Listen to the loons or take a refreshing swim. Highfields Dahlia Farm is a perfect getaway for couples and solo adventurers. 15 minutes to Camden or Rockland or take a day trip to Acadia National Park.

Oak Grove Cottage at Sennebec Pond

Get cozy and settle into this charming cottage built in 1957. Located in Appleton, ME which is 20 minutes outside the picturesque town of Camden. In 2022 the cottage was completely renovated inside and out. New plumbing and new electrical was also completed. This charming cottage boasts 1 bedroom. The open beam design painted all white and dark brown flooring make the cottage feel much larger than its 26x20 foot print. The property also boasts a dock and outdoor grill. Truly charming!

Come relax in this serene private cabin in the woods, steps from the beautiful and clean Saint George River. Enjoy the birds, go fishing, swing in the riverside hammock, or read in the screened in porch. The river has brook trout and bass, and you can fish right on the property. Great home base to unwind or to explore mid coast Maine. Trails to water also connect to the Saint George Conservancy's "Fisherman's Pool" trail, which is popular with locals for fly fishing.

Woodland Cabin with Pond Frontage

10x12' cabin has a queen sized bed in a sleeping loft is just a five minute walk from the Pond . Absolute privacy in a woodland setting . Our pond 650’ of pond frontage is shared with no one else. You will be the only ones with access to it. Off grid , no running water. We provide 5 gallons outside for dishes, and 2 gallons inside for cooking. Bring your own cooler. . Solar powered led lights inside , Primitive composting toilet is located in an outhouse.

Our secluded, very quiet and private two bedroom cabin with loft features a bug-free screened-in porch on its large deck. The cabin overlooks peaceul Sandy Pond, inhabited by bald eagles, loons, and herons. Watch beautiful sunrises and sunsets, fish and kayak from our dock. We're close to coastal Belfast, Unity, MOFGA (annual Common Ground Fair), Waterville, Acadia and Camden. Eat at The Lost Kitchen, visit the Amish, hike the Hills to Sea Trail.
