Der geschlossene Gasthof liegt idylisch mitten in der Natur der Chiemgauer Voralpen an der roten Traun. Rad und Wanderwege sind nah, schöne Bergtouren in der Nähe. Die Gastroküche wird als Gemeinschaftsküche genutzt. In dem Zimmer mit Bad ist ein Doppelbett und ein Einzelbett. Auf dem Gelände gibt es auch einen Lagerfeuerplatz und eine Grillstelle, sowie eine Badestelle im Bach.

Das Jugend- und Familienhotel Augustin ist 24h geöffnet. Nicht direkt in der Innenstadt, aber mit der U-Bahn in zwei Stationen im Zentrum. Die Anreise mit dem Auto ist ebenfalls möglich - Parken kann man in der Tiefgarage für 12,00 € pro Nacht. Der angrenzende Bavariapark mit Spielplatz und die nötigsten Geschäfte sind alle fußläufig erreichbar.
