The Chalet at Valdez KOA Campground

Welcome to our veteran family owned and operated KOA campground! We love this place and hope you will too. Started by our parents, we are continuing to make improvements. Our Chalet is a 2 Story charming house located at the Valdez KOA Campground. Complete with 2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, and 2 decks. The King Suite has a walk-in closet and bathroom, plus a balcony for your early morning coffee with mountain views. The Queen size bedroom, also upstairs, has a separate bathroom with walk-in shower.

Kade's Cabin || 2 bed 1 bath Urban cabin

Kade's Cabin is a brand new portable cabin home, with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath located in Valdez, Alaska. Perfect for small families, couples, or business travelers visiting Valdez. The cabin has things you'd expect like a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and little extra surprises like in floor heat and a fireplace. Conveniently located within walking distance to groceries, gas, the small boat harbor, museums, shops, and restaurants. If you have questions about the cabin or Valdez, feel free to ask!

It's perfect for couples, business travelers, families & groups!! Wheelchair accessible ramp! Located a short distance from the local schools, playgrounds, grocery store, museums, boat harbor and more.

Nine-Mile Nugget

Located between Valdez and Thompson pass, this little "mini" offers everything you need to be comfortable on your stay. A short 13 mile drive from Valdez will have you nestled in the woods where you will enjoy peace and serenity. Newly renovated Studio-Style BnB offers a private bathroom, and a "mostly" full kitchen. (There is no range/oven, but there is a toaster, Air-Fryer, microwave, and hot-plate for all your cooking needs!) This unit is upstairs with about 12 steps to the top.

The Gingerbread House

Experience a piece of Valdez history when you stay at the Gingerbread House! This house was originally built on the old Valdez townsite, then moved and renovated after the 1964 tsunami. This home is located in town and is within walking distance of Valdez's restaurants, shops and attractions. Inside are two bedrooms with queen and full size beds. The couch can turn into a third bed to accommodate another two guests. In addition, there is a back deck and private back yard.

The Shabbin Playhouse at Alpine Woods 10 mile

Break out the winter gear! Your stay at he Shabbin is a private room that has everything you will need in it. Entry passcode lock. 1 Queen bed & pillows. Clean bedding & bath towels provided. Toilet, shower, kitchen including a 4 burner stove, pots & pans, dishes and silverware settings for 4, cutting knives, some baking dishes, wine glasses/opener, coffee grinder, can opener, cabinet for groceries, refrigerator /freezer. Perfect for a family or 2-3 couples traveling together, with 3 private bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen and laundry. The living room has mountain views and a small deck. The kitchen includes coffee and tea supplies. Easy walking to downtown Valdez. PLEASE NOTE, the living room/kitchen/dining room and 2 of the bedrooms plus one bath are all UPSTAIRS. The only rooms on the ground floor are a bedroom with queen bed, bathroom and laundry closet.

Historic Thompson House

Thompson House is historic, quirky, unique and comfortable. It survived the 1964 9.2 earthquake and tsunami that caused Old Valdez to relocate to the new and present town site. An addition more than doubled the size of the original one room cabin which included an extensive remodel.
