This was once a one room grade school that has been converted into a cozy cabin for your enjoyment. No tv, no Wi-Fi, cell service is available. The school house cabin is located next to the Plum Creek Wildlife Management Area and 22 miles from the Niobrara River and 13 miles from Ainsworth, NE.

Merritt Dam Road Hill House

The Merritt Dam Road Hill House sits high up on the hill overlooking Merritt Reservoir and the Snake River. This gorgeous cabin has vaulted ceilings, a wide open design, 2 bedrooms on the main floor, a loft with 3 beds, a cozy fire place, and 2 decks to enjoy the most scenic view of the sand hills. This cabin is located just north of Merritt Dam and only a few miles from the Snake Falls Sportsman's Club, Prairie Club, and Cap Rock. Make your next trip to Valentine even more memorable!

Annie's House

This lovely home was built in 1890 for Mr. Charles Hiram Cornell. He was a Nebraska State Senator in 1888 and was also the Founder of the First National Bank in Valentine, as well as Cornell Dam With a great central location, the house is within walking distance to local restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. Owned by one family since the 1950’s, it is named for my mother Annie, who loved living here. Please enjoy making your own memories in this home, and in the Heart City!

It's less than a mile from town and is conveniently located on Us Highway 18. Within walking distance to the drive-in theater and local museum.
