Guests have their own private garden, tables, fire pit, river lounging and parking area separate from the main house. Full laundry, fireplaces, air conditioning and well-appointed kitchens. Firewood, towels, bathing and kitchen supplies are all included. We also have Unlimited WIFI and the river is at your door. Great for fisherman and families.

The house is steps away from the Trinity River, with over 1600 s.f. of wood-inspired indoor living spaces, hued teak floors, surrounded by outdoor decks, wooded areas and wildlife. It is very private and serene and is accessible to local recreational access areas. It will serve as a memory not easy to forget for those who book it.

Coffee, tea, sugar, oil and other condiments on site. There is an extra drive way for boat parking. Pets are not allowed. There will be a $250.00 per unauthorized pet. Guest will be evicted.

Come and relax with the Wild & Scenic Trinity River in your front yard. Abundant recreational activities are on site (we offer inner tubes for floating the river) and the area is well known for outdoor recreation of all types. Prior approval required for pets at $50/pet.

The Glen at 1998

This is the perfect get-away for a group of friends or a family. The main house has an extra large living room, dining room and game area. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Detached bedroom is en suite. The screened porch is delightful and gets a nice breeze and a river view. There is fishing right off the banks of the Trinity River. Guests at The Glen share the next door pool with guests renting the other cottages at River Rock Gardens.

You have private river access located next to the Strawhouse Cafe’ across the street where you can swim, fish, relax, and/or hike nearby trails. The kitchen has a mini fridge, air fryer, toaster oven, induction plate & microwave and is stocked with cups, plates, silverware, etc. Charcoal BBQ is in share area outside.
