LOCH NESS unique vacation rental in the Highlands of Scotland. Located on the shores of Loch Ness, within the fully renovated Benedictine Abbey in Fort Augustus. Check-in 3-6pm. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat, 9-5pm). You’ll love my place because of privacy of having your own country retreat within beautifully landscaped gardens. My place is small with one bedroom that contains either x2 singles or zip&link super-king size bed. The 3rd guest is on a roll-away mattress ideal for a child.

A bothy bedroom in the heart of the Cairngorms

Connected to the old cruck barn this is a compact, cosy, self contained bedroom. It’s set on one side of the courtyard with separate key access so you can come and go at will. If you love the outdoors, we think you will love it here. We have spectacular views of the Cairngorms, with excellent walks from the door. Rustic, with loads of character, the room has a comfy king size bed and en suite bathroom with shower. If you need mod cons or lots of space this may not be the place for you!

Per Mare Per Terram is a cosy cabin that boasts breath taking views of Loch Broom and the surrounding Munros. Standing alone at the top of Braes in Ullapool it has a wonderful cosy feeling when wrapped up inside, offering out of the way tranquillity whilst still being able to enjoy the amazing scenery no matter what the weather conditions. The cabin is equipped with a fridge, microwave,kettle, toaster and excellent wi-fi. It also has a shower room and modern composting toilet.

Urquhart Bay Barn

Urquhart Bay Barn, situated at the Urquhart Bay Viewpoint, is a charming and spacious self-catering renovation, with two bedrooms (one can be either two single beds or a king size bed), completed to a very high standard, with stunning views across Loch Ness and Glen Urquhart from the dining area window and gardens. We are just a few minutes walk from the iconic Urquhart Castle. The Barn itself is built with stone taken from Urquhart Castle in the late 1800s.

The Knockie Cottage is a 2-bedroom cottage with bathroom and private access. Enjoy the views of the Highlands (approx 27 miles from Inverness) with its beautiful open countryside and mountains. Just outside you have Loch Knockie that attracts a variety of wildlife and is great for trout fly fishing. Enjoy fishing in the private Loch nan Lann. The Cottage is perfectly situated for explore Loch Ness and enjoy hiking the beautiful hills.
