Return to the simple life by relaxing in the hot tub, or by lounging next to the rushing stream! In 2019, we expanded our vision & have built a timber frame barn (over 300 ft from the house), featuring a site (Wonderlust Acres) for weddings & events. Direct river access from house to the water with a riverside deck. 2 br 1.5 bath w/ 2 queen beds in the main bedroom and a twin with an under mattress if needed. 15 min from downtown WJ, 40 min from Boone, and 10/15 min from Walmart and other shopping/ restaurants! Secluded, but close to everything!

The Cozy Cottage with self entry

The Cozy Cottage is located in the country side just off 421 on Boone Trail, along the Lewis Fork Creek, in Wilkes County. Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The cottage is small, only a little over 600 square feet, but just right for one or two guest. The cozy cottage has been in our family for three generations. We live just out of sight, on up the drive. You can enjoy your privacy but if you need anything we are near by. We look forward to hosting you !

Welcome to our Moonshine Mini-Mansion. The home is on 8 acres in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina and has just the right amount of every season. Only 30 miles to Boone and 6 miles to Faithfest and Merlefest! The entire home was refurbished with all new finishes, new paint, soft close cabinets, and new flooring. This is a cozy house, and it is on land aka 'in the sticks.' Due to it being out in the country, you may see a bug or two!
