20-25 minutes from Austin. Near lakes and parks. Quiet spot in the city. Great place to stay for festivals (ACL, SXSW, etc), perfect for business people or couples- it is located in close proximity to my house but you are given complete privacy. **PLEASE BE AWARE THAT WE ARE LOCATED NEAR A HIGHWAY AND YOU CAN HEAR IT FROM THE CABIN- this is not anything I can change and it’s unfortunately, a blessing and a curse. Its not super loud or anything, but some people are very sensitive to sound. :) **

Sunrise Casita Guest House at Hudson Bend Ranch

Sunrise Casita is a 600 sq ft private studio-style guest house with two queen beds, one full bath, and kitchenette. It is private, safe, and quiet, and offers access to all of the shared outdoor space of Hudson Bend Ranch. Bathed in sunlight at sunrise, the Sunrise Casita porch is a great place to start your morning drinking coffee, watching the wild birds, and even encounter our family of deer on the ranch. The porch has vintage lawn chairs, a Weber gas grill, fire pit, and picnic table.

This tiny house (399 sq ft) overlooking a meadow gives you front-row seats to a wide-open Texas sky and unforgettable sunsets. Here, we manage the land for wildlife, where you'll see hawks, ducks, and owls. The deer grazing in the meadow or bedding down in the pasture right outside your door is a calming sight. You are welcome to join in with feeding the horses as well. You have full permission to do absolutely nothing but BE for as long as you need. Welcome to your 'Peaceful Pause.'

Please note: the bathroom is small, with a small toilet area and shower. Every rock in the home’s interior and exterior was picked up by hand, then hand laid by the two of them. Enjoy the fire pit and beautiful sunsets in the outdoor dining area under majestic heritage oaks.

Front porch with swing and large back porch with patio furniture. Front looks out to large open fields with regular deer, rabbit and turkey sighting. Because of our area, we have limited Wi-Fi.
