A private island to yourself, staying in an original stone walled lodge situated in 150 acres of forest surrounded by lakes which connect to the River Erne in County Cavan. 2 fishing boats included for up to 6 guests. Take in the view of the lakes and the 12th century Trinity Abbey. Enjoy the private walks around the island, following badger/deer trails, listen to the dawn chorus, meditate, read, write, take photographs, fish, take a trip by canoe, boat or float tube. Afterwards enjoy a sauna.

Magical gothic 3 bedroom mini-castle.

The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an small adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.

Peacock House

The Peacock House is located within the Lismore Demesne. It was once the dairy and workers cottage. From the 1980s onwards it was used to house peacocks, giving the cottage its name. After being left dormant for 80 years it was lovingly restored three years ago. These days it is a bright and cozy cottage offering tranquil views of mature trees and park land. There is private access to forest walks along the Doney Stream just outside the doorstep.
