There is so much to see and do, local cafes, wineries and plenty of walking trails. Make this your holiday base and explore the beautiful surrounding attractions. Enjoy your own company with privacy and take a short stroll down to the Warren river, only minutes away from the cottage. Please note there is very limited wifi coverage with Telstra.

In the luxurious bathroom you can soak in the antique claw foot bath or shower in the seperate cubicle. Heated towel rail, a range of toiletries and Egyptian cotton towels are provided.

Our place is a rustic older style house close to natural bush land and lake walks among the tall Karri and Jarrah forests. It is also close (20 min drive) to local wineries and popular tourist attractions of the South West region. Our large comfortable house is nestled in peaceful forest setting with easy access to numerous bush walks and wildlife. A perfect place to spend time in the quiet soothing forest setting. Good for couples, solo adventurers, families, and furry friends (dogs).

Dunmore Homestead Cottage

The quaint studio cottage overlooks the Scott River flats, the Homestead and farm land. To the back of the cottage is the untouched bush leading all the way to the South Coast. Explore the river that runs through the property, say hello to our farm animals, pick some fruits and vegetables from our kitchen garden, go wildflower hunting, bush walking, 4x4 driving or fishing. we are on the edge of the D'Entrecasteaux National Park and within an hour of many towns in the south west region.

Jakamarri

Spacious self contained apartment with 2 queen beds one upstairs. Large modern bathroom with separate toilet located downstairs. Private entry and parking located on 8 acres of Bush property. Spacious living area with lounge, dining, kitchen with fridge and microwave and small oven, the kitchen has basic cooking appliances . The kitchen comes equipped with crockery, cutlery, glassware, toaster, jug, tea and coffee. There is a bbq on the outdoor patio.

The uninterrupted ocean views are what make this the best place to stay at Windy Harbour. Relax and unwind in this front row cottage. Originally built as a shack in the 1950s it now has a few creature comforts like a gas heater, gas hot water and gas stove as the settlement has no mains power. A small solar system provides lights for the evening, also runs the TV/DVD, can also charge laptops and keeps the large 450Lt fridge/freezer nice and cold.

The Bushmans - A Romantic Forest Retreat

Nestled on the edge of a towering karri forest, The Bushmans is a charming miller’s cottage made for slow days together. Wake to birdsong and sunlight streaming through the trees, then wander hand in hand down the path to the lake for a refreshing morning swim. Spend your afternoons lazing on the verandah with a book or exploring forest trails before the softness of evening settles in. Escape to the woods to rest, reconnect and unwind.
