You can also use wifi. The bath is about the size of two adults and uses Japanese cypress. It will be a very beautiful room just opened in January. Please try and stay at once. The location of the hotel is in a place where you can walk to downtown area of Kyoto and famous temples. It is a very convenient place.

京町家貸切宿｢高瀬川七条｣は築115年の京町家をフルリノベーションした宿泊施設です｡京都の美しい風景を形作る京町家を､当時の構造を残したまま､京都特有の蒸し暑い夏､底冷えの厳しい冬にも快適にお過ごしいただけるよう､気密性･断熱性能の高い建物に仕立て直しました｡ 1階の和室からは『露地』(※茶室へ通じる庭)をイメージした坪庭をご覧いただくことができます｡また､廊下にはゆったりとくつろぎながら坪庭を眺めることができるようソファをご用意しました｡夜にはライトアップされた坪庭を眺めながら､癒しの時間をお過ごしいただけます｡ 2階には寝室が2部屋あり､シングルベッド2台の和室とシングルベッド2台の洋室をご用意しました。 5名様以上でご宿泊の場合は､少しご面倒ですが1階の和室にお布団を敷き､寝室としてご利用いただきます｡ キッチンには簡単なお料理ができるよう調理器具と食器のご用意がございます｡

簡易宿所(旅館業営業許可済) スギエ(SUGIE) は、明治の遺産琵琶湖疎水に囲まれた環境の良い、京都駅まで30分京阪三条まで35分とアクセスにも恵まれた広々とした古民家です。私の祖父母は昭和初期から上記の疎水(インクライン)を使って木造船で京都の神社仏閣に白砂、砂利、門柱に使う御影石等を京都蹴上まで運ぶ豪商でした、商売繁盛するようにと家の庭に鳥居と社を作りお稲荷さんを祭りました。大きな水屋(食器入れ)や欅の長火鉢、家紋入りの提灯入れ等古くて珍しいものがたくさん飾ってあります。
