Please note! This house is located on a quiet park where other people also relax and live, and is absolutely not a party destination. We only rent to groups of young people if it is declared in advance that they will not cause a nuisance or late-night parties. The house has been recently renovated and features many new appliances. Smart lighting and thermostat, new refrigerator, and oven/microwave. Atmospheric decor throughout the house based on an industrial look. Upon opening the back door, your holiday begins with a spacious garden equipped with all necessities and a jetty from which you can swim and boat.

It's situated in the beautiful countryside next to the River Holendrecht. Right in between the picturesque villages of Ouderkerk aan de Amstel and Abcoude. And less than 10km from Amsterdam. In juli & augustus per week! Ons unieke huis staat op een landtong met aan 2 kanten water. Centraal gelegen tussen Amsterdam en Utrecht. In de omgeving zijn jachthavens en recreatiewoningen. Vanaf de weg loop je naar het pontje, waarmee je zelf naar het huisje vaart. Het huis is alleen per vlot/boot bereikbaar. Het huis heeft een tuin, houten steigers en zitjes. Binnen is het huis van alle gemakken voorzien: er is vloerverwarming, airco en Wifi. Boven zijn 2 slaapkamers, 2e toilet en badkamer.

This location is for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility. From the houseboat you have a view of a nature-friendly bank that is ecologically managed by the local residents. You can view the many types of water birds and even the Kingfisher and the Cormorant come to catch a fish every now and then. The water is of very good quality and you can swim from the boat. You can also rent an electrically powered rowing boat from us to explore the area from the water.

Guesthouse Bethune is located in the beautiful village of Tienhoven, in the middle of the Dutch lake district. Amsterdam (30 min by car) and Utrecht (15 min) are nearby. The area is famous for biking and hiking but also boat trips along the river Vecht with its castles and famous historic houses. You can enjoy the great nature (many birds) with one of our bikes or our kayak. Self catering / without breakfast.
