Indulge in a relaxing soak in the high-end stone bath, then kick back on the chaise longue. Watling House sits over three floors and is perfect for a relaxing trip to the countryside. Whether you are entertaining in the open living / dining areas or relaxing by the fire, you will have everything you need for a great stay! The property benefits from modern amenities such as: - Wine Fridge - Nespresso Machine - Instant Boiling Water Tap - Bluetooth Speaker - Sky Q (plus sport & movies) in kitchen, lounge and master bedroom. - Cole & Lewis London toiletries - Dishwasher - Outdoor dining - Luxury stone bath - Woodburning Fire - BBQ We have four cosy double bedrooms - two with king size beds. You can choose from two large living spaces or the separate dining room. Enjoy the garden and patio area from the kitchen / living area, opening the large doors to let the outside in! We are available if you need us but we will leave you to enjoy Watling House in peace! The house sits in the quiet village of Bridge, around three miles from historic Canterbury. The village is a great base for country walks in the Kent Downs, with plenty of local pubs for pit stops, or visits into Canterbury for its vibrant nightlife. Bus Services to Canterbury, Dover and the surrounding villages. Train service from Canterbury to London, Dover and Whitstable. Why visit Watling House... - Fantastic walks in an area of outstanding natural beauty - Lots of local amenities on your doorstep - three village pubs, local shop, butchers and a frequent bus service into Canterbury (approx 10 mins). - Close to the historic cathedral city of Canterbury. Visit the Cathedral, Canterbury Tales and the historic city walls. - You can nip up to London on the UK's first highspeed service from Canterbury West (approx 55 mins) or a day trip to France (approx 20 mins from the Port of Dover and the Channel Crossing). We haven't been able to list all of the great things to do in the area but can always tell you more... we would recommend a trip to one of the local Kentish vineyards for some famous English Fizz!

Cosy Countryside Cottage, in an AONB

Situated in the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) with sweeping countryside valley views and many walks, this *premium* cottage offers a relaxing and comfortable stay with all home comforts for two adults. Caution: (We have a Floor Bed upstairs and a Sofa bed downstairs.) With historic pubs all around, Central Canterbury is 10 mins drive away yet you are in the countryside! Get away from London, breathe countryside air, travel to/from the Continent. Dover is only a 30mints.

Family friendly, well equipped cottage by Howletts

This lovely stand-alone holiday cottage (2 bedrooms, bathroom, sitting/dining room) offers you and your family a very comfortable and homely experience in a quiet setting, close to many local attractions. Deep carpets, shower, soft white towels, extra wide beds in one bedroom, fresh 100% cotton percale sheets, a fully equipped kitchen and continental breakfast provided, all make it a special home. A travel cot with linen, high chair and baby bath are freely available. Smart TV and WiFi also.

Westfields Cottage Sleeps 5 Beautiful setting

Quaint , secluded , countryside /village cottage. Suitable for travelling golfers, business people, and an inbetween stop over from and to Europe for the holiday makers . Or you could just make a lovely weekend of it and visit all of our lovely coast and countryside .... cottage much bigger than the pictures. After all.... We are known as the "Garden of England ". Guest rate for 2 people, is for 1 bedroom only . If you require 2 bedrooms for 2 guests then there will be an extra charge of £15.

The Old Wash House - built 1775

The Old Wash House is set in the heart of the village of Littlebourne. There is on street parking if you're driving and a frequent bus service which runs into Canterbury and Sandwich every 30 minutes from right outside the property if you're not! You are a 5 minute drive from Canterbury with its rich history, art and culture, great shopping and restaurants and dining. The coast is just a 20 minute drive away too. The Old Wash House is good for couples, solo adventurers and business travellers.

The Rabbit Hole - A beautiful countryside stay

Welcome to our "Rabbit Hole", aptly named as you will discover on your visit to us; just peep out of the windows! Spacious but intimate, we hope that we got your holiday home right. Some of the stuff we thought of, a super king bed, so you can stretch out like starfish. Love music, connect and play your sounds on the Samsung speaker. 65" television to watch a Netflix epic? Open the window in the bedroom, fill the big bath tub and immerse yourself in the night sky with a glass of bubbles

Beautiful village cottage (near Canterbury)

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. A character filled cottage located in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Walking distance from the Mermaid Pub, family-run butcher, independent baker and welcoming tea room, as well as other local excellent pubs & The Pig in Bridge. Plenty of walks and cycle routes from the door step. Relax by the wood burning stove, eat at the cottage/pub, take a lovely dog walk and enjoy the peaceful setting. Or visit Canterbury, only 5 miles away!

The Calf Shed at Broxhall Farm

Broxhall Farm is a traditional family farm set in some of The Garden of England's finest countryside. We warmly invite you to come and stay in The Calf Shed- a traditional old brick and flint farm building once used for rearing dairy calves. The space now features cosy open plan self- catering accommodation with original exposed oak beams, outside garden space for al fresco dining and plenty of quiet, peace and tranquility. There is ample space for car parking outside.

The apartment forms part of a new village development next to fields and is now finally on Maps. The nearest park and ride to the historic cathedral city of Canterbury is exactly seven miles away. There are many other places of interest within a short distance, such as Sandwich and Deal. The East Kent countryside is breathtaking. There is a wealth of village pubs for eating out, especially the Griffins Head in Chillenden and Goodnestone Park Gardens.
