A couple’s secluded retreat in a newly constructed (2020) single level creek view cabin with knotty pine. The parking area is equipped with a 230Vac/120Vac charge station for electric vehicles. The cabin has all comforts of home. 35 foot Trex deck along front of cabin to view song birds and hummingbirds. Ring security disabled. Outdoor fire ring with plenty of wood. Kayaks, floats, and fishing tackle supplied for fun in a beautiful creek. Our cabin has one king size bed designed for a couple.

Set in the beautiful Alleghany Mountain Range, the Cabin On The Creek is a custom-built luxury cabin with amazing views and access to Potts Creek on a private wooded property. Multiple outdoor areas to enjoy the sights and sounds of the creek include the back porch, observation deck with Adirondack chairs, and walking path that leads to a stunning view of the Potts Creek “Sinks.” Enjoy the tranquil natural environment as you make use of the outdoor grill, picnic area, fire pit, and hot tub.

Enjoy our cottage steps away from Craig Creek. Whether you're looking to float the river, relax by the fire or sit on the screened in porch listening to the calming river while having a nice meal, we have the place for you! This two-bedroom cottage has everything you need. Sleeps up to 8, perfect for families, couples, fishermen and any nature lover. Two kayaks with paddles and firewood included. We also have a variety of life jackets available. 2-night minimum required most weekends.

Located in quiet Heights neighborhood this home has beautiful views and is only blocks from downtown Clifton Forge, Masonic Theater and Arts Center. This one bedroom offers Living area, full kitchen, bath with large walk-in shower and patio. Patio with mountain views a great place to relax. Large yard has firepit. Washer, dryer and microwave make this ideal for longer stays. Bedroom has Queen bed and sofa reclines for additional sleep options. Queen air mattress available.

Cozy Cabin at High Lonesome Alleghany

Tiny cabin, big access. Interior: electricity, fold-out sofa, kitchenette with mini-fridge, hanging chair, electric fireplace, A/C, WiFi (no cell service but cell-over-WiFi works). Exterior: fire pit, outhouse, hammock, folding table & chairs, and a giant forest to explore. Notes: No running water. Clean creek water available, considered potable by owner, or guests can bring their own. Also, guests should bring their own bedding (cabin has blankets but no sheets/pillows).

This totally renovated cabin sits by the banks of beautiful Craig Creek. The Hideaway backs up to the 4,600+ acre Grace Furnace tract of National Forest. There are no neighbors in sight and the traffic is sparse.Sit on the screened porch or relax by the water's edge with the fire pit. The water is usually deep enough to swim in front of the house, and you can float for miles! You can fish right from the yard and catch trout, small-mouth bass, rock bass, and lots more!

Charming 2 bedroom 1 bath guest house sleeps four looking over the Cowpasture River on a 350 acre working farm. Guest may use of our concrete tennis court and explore miles of hiking trails that lead to the national forest. Farm is surrounded by over 2.5 miles of the Cowpasture River. There is a gravel beach right beside the bridge entering the farm where one can enjoy wading and swimming. River here is 3-4 feet deep depending on the season and stream flow.
