A perfect spot to get away, relax and explore the stunning countryside right from the door. The cottage features beautiful outdoor spaces, a large stone fireplace with woodburning stove, wooden shutters, exposed beams, a fully fitted hand made kitchen, walk in rain showers and romantic roll top bath. Highfield House - Rural Retreat Derbyshire

We are located close to the Peak District, with Chatsworth House not far away. It is surrounded by Oakerthrope Nature Reserve and is perfect for those wanting to explore Derbyshire. We live next door and there are friendly cats and a dog that live on the property. *please note Hot Tub needs to be booked BY THE GUEST DIRECTLY with ‘Midland Hot Tub Hire’ for price, to arrive at the property the day before arrival to be filled and heated by host. EV charger available payable to owners please.

The Kennels

Kick off your walking boots, wash down your bike or just park up the car, this freshly converted kennels is the place to relax for a few days. Peaceful and away from it all but close enough to explore the beauty of the Peak District and Chatsworth House. Matlock is a couple of miles away with restaurants, shops and amenities. You can start exploring from the door step; we can help with guides, directions and recommendations. The room can be configured as a luxury Super King or twin beds.

Tilly Lodge

Unwind in luxury in this brand-new converted lodge. With a hot tub and seating area overlooking some fantastic views alongside a gorgeous modern interior. This getaway is perfect for couples, families and friends. Built by my wonderful talented husband Tilly Lodge is a self contained luxury getaway surrounded by so many local attractions some being just a stones throw away. Tilly Lodge is set in a beautiful village with a lovely pub, fabulous garden and great food just a 4 minute walk away.

Private wing in old farmhouse, EMA Donington Park

You will be comfortable in our house, full of character. Two upstairs bedrooms, with a king size bed & Freeview TV, and one with single (further beds on discussion); bathroom and downstairs shower room. Downstairs sitting room with microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge (no freezer), without a kitchen sink. Screen (no TV) available in sitting room with HDMI cable. Washing up service provided. This is all for your private use with your own front door, in effect a self contained unit.

Rooms with a View

A self-contained annexe, with its own kitchen and bathroom plus a separate bedroom on an open-plan mezzanine floor above, accessible via a spiral staircase. There is a large comfortable sofa bed in the living room which can accommodate two adults. There is free parking on the drive for one car. The open-plan nature of the layout make the annexe most suitable to a couple or family of 3 (or 3 close friends!) Please be aware that the stairs can prove challenging to older visitors.

Set in the glorious Peak District in a rural and peaceful location is our lovely self contained studio. Glorious views and walks over rolling countryside. Close to Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. With the popular wedding venue (Peak Edge Hotel ) within walking distance and the beautiful market towns of Bakewell, Matlock and Chesterfield (with its famous crooked spire) close by you can easily explore the Peak District from here. Perfect for the Chatsworth Christmas market.

The Hayloft is a spacious studio apartment surrounded by beautiful Derbyshire scenery in the tranquil village of Bradley near Ashbourne. There could hardly be a more peaceful setting, surrounded by fields and with Mill Dam Lake on the opposite side of the road. The surrounding area is ideal for walking, cycling and outdoor pursuits with the Tissington Trail, Dove Dale & major attractions like Chatsworth House & Alton Towers within easy reach.
