Welcome to Cabin in the Sky! At 1,671 ft elevation, Cabin in the Sky is a newly renovated log cabin nestled in the mountainside with tranquil views. The home offers the perfect combination of seclusion and convenience. In the mornings/evenings, enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine from the private deck which overlooks pure nature (not a car, street or building in sight). During the day, take advantage of the local hiking, skiing, farmer's markets, restaurants and shopping.

This is a cozy cottage, tucked away at the end of a dirt road, surrounded by hundreds of acres of NYC State land with a hiking trail leading through forests and meadows with stunning views. In winter, all wheel drive is strongly recommended. Pets are welcome, ( $ 25 pet fee ) please let us know what dog breed you are bringing. We are walking distance to everything the village has to offer, accessible by bus for those that want a getaway without a car, we are in walking distance from Trailways bus stop in Margaretville.
