The cottage was built around 1890 to house the Ploughman for Goatfield Farm, and has been extensively remodelled to create a unique getaway. Accommodation is in a spacious 2 bedroom Victorian house, built in 1870. It is part of a courtyard with a deli, smokehouse and award-winning seafood restaurant. The house is beside the A78 road, backing onto the Fairlie moors where you can find walking, cycling and hiking routes up Kaim hill with outstanding views of the Clyde coast. Ferries to Arran / Millport / Dunoon / Rothsay are close by (Ardrossan 15 minutes drive, Largs 10 minutes). Licence number NA00037F.

Tarsuinn, a charming and traditional cottage

Tarsuinn cottage is in an elevated location with spectacular views over the Shiskine valley surrounded by farmland. There is a small fenced garden to the side of the cottage with a bench in a very sunny spot. To the rear there is a farmyard belonging to the neighbouring farm, which is mostly a sheep farm and not too busy. Just a 5 minutes long walk away you can find the Bellevue farm and enjoy a guided tour and lots of animals, even Alpacas.

Fairy Cottage

Fairy Cottage is a self contained, fully equipped detached cottage, set in private grounds with private parking. Private patio area with garden furniture. Quiet and peaceful on a summer's evening. High Chair and travel cot available on request. Additional day guests only permitted with prior permission and an extra charge may be incurred. Our cottage has a capacity of a maximum of four people sharing two beds.
