Little Rainforest Sanctuary near Bellingen

Rainbow Creek was curated for lovers and adventurers. Nestled on the edge of the rainforest in Kalang, you are immersed in nature - birdsong, glow worms and a million stars at night. Enjoy luxuriously comfortable spaces for resting or be creative in the library with art supplies or read our nature and art books in the library. We are far enough from Bellingen to feel like you have truly escaped but close enough to go out for a romantic dinner or a relaxed breakfast and coffee in the morning.

House on a Hill, Dorrigo

House on a Hill is a 3 bedroom house located 10 minutes from scenic Dorrigo. The house is modern and fully-equipped for groups of 8, with sofa beds available for larger groups. Stunning views over the surrounding farmland which sweeps down to the Little Murray River mean plenty of beautiful walks around the farm chasing waterfalls and bird watching. There is a wood fire to snuggle in front of on cold winter's nights and plenty of space to relax and get back to nature surrounded by rainforest.

Koompartoo Retreat is an adults-only boutique retreat set amongst tropical rainforest on the edge of Bellingen town. Private cabins provide a romantic sanctuary for couples to enjoy a relaxing break away from it all, yet an easy walk to cafes, restaurants and shops. Each cabin is crafted from local hardwoods, timber floors, high ceilings and shady verandahs and offer a kitchenette, BBQ, canopy bed, freestanding bath with separate bathroom, dining and lounge area with electric fireplace.

The Shack - Very secluded 200 acre rural retreat

"The Shack" - a very private self-catered, self-contained, weatherboard cottage set on a rural retreat of 80 hectares (200 acres) featuring cleared paddocks, dams, bush tracks and bushland expanses with no other dwelling on the property. Neighbours - there are none within sight. The Shack is off grid with rainwater tanks, solar panels and 12v battery bank. Stove, hot water and fridge/freezer are powered by bottled gas. Absolute serenity and just 3km to the quaint township of Bellingen.

Tulip Cottage - riverfront getaway, close to town

Enjoy views over the Bellinger river in this fully equipped four bedroom house, located on 23 acres just 5 minutes from town. With AC in every room, outdoor dining, fire pit, river access with bar, indoor spa bath and stylish interiors, you will feel at home in this recently renovated Federation Cottage from 1918 featuring a verandah, entertaining area with retractable fly screens, private nature trails and swimming spots. Beaches, waterfalls and national parks within a short distance.
