Things to note 1 We have a young family and your room is adjacent (although not accessible from our space for your privacy) to our wonderful often noisy life, there is insulation, white noise, and a TV to buffer, and they do this quite well, we are asleep/quiet between 9pm and 7:30am 2 We are on a busy road, so there is some traffic noise 3 We are centrally located between Boise, Garden City, and Eagle. Work and play at the A-Frame cabin in Wilderness Ranch! 30 Minutes from Boise, the airport, and Micron. 30 minutes away from historic Idaho City and The Springs. Minutes away from Boise National Forest and Lucky Peak. Wilderness Ranch offers 28 miles of private roads and trails for walking, hiking, and showshoeing. Level 2 Electric Vehicle charging station in enclosed shop/garage, as well as parking. Adjustable frame bed, adjustable stand-up desk, high speed internet, and well-equipped kitchen.

Enjoy this rustic family cabin built in 1951, Idaho City is only 1.5 miles. surrounded by the beauty of nature. Just outside the door is private access to more than 200 acres of private property. Solitude? Peace? Nature? One could hike for day and never encounter anything other than the beauty and sounds of nature. Come back from your hike, relax around the firepit, roast marshmallows, make memories, and count the stars all from this family heirloom. We welcome you to the Gingerbread Cabin.

Scavenger (Tiny House)

Our place is a feeling. If you arrive at night, you can see by our firepit lights. Park next to the deck, walk a few feet, open the door, and walk inside. You're home. We are setup for anytime arrival. "Kate Brown" wears a hat and is milked every day. We give a free goat milk sample. Free-range chickens and roosters will follow you. Snuggle down on the love couch for a Roku/Netflix movie (you connect to YOUR cellphone Hotspot). You can walk around and see wildlife or buy fresh eggs ($4).

Provided is a full bathroom with shower, refrigerator, oven, sink, and all the stuff you need to cook with. Access for you and your pets to a private fenced garden. Don't be surprised though if you have 3 furry creatures on the other side of the fence begging for some attention.

We are located in the Sunset neighborhood of Boise. Downtown and the North End’s Hyde Park are very close and they afford a wide variety of pubs, restaurants, bars, and retail shopping. The foothills are less than 5 minutes away with many hiking and biking trails.
