From here, you can easily explore the many beauty spots of the Isle of Purbeck, including the stunning Jurassic Coast, the ruins of Corfe Castle, Poole Harbour, and Brownsea Island. Enjoy the sandy beaches around Swanage and Studland.

Gorgeous shepherd's hut in Dorset's water meadows

This is a gorgeous new shepherds hut adjoining a listed thatched cottage with a stream running through the garden and alongside the hut. The hut is quiet and peaceful being at the end of a small lane petering out into protected water meadows. The only noise to disturb you is bird song. Look out of your window and you see coots and ducks in the stream. Step straight into the water meadows and see herons and kingfishers. In a word, idyllic.

No.3 is a self-contained property which was the extension of the original farm cottage built in 1907, now part of the hosts’ residence (number 4). It has it’s own separate access off a quiet unclassified road leading out of the village of Winterborne Whitechurch with off-road parking. The property has been adapted to provide all the comforts for a quiet enjoyable stay but public transport is infrequent so a car is recommended.
