The cottage enjoys spectacular scenery and has easy access to the Blaengarw walking and Darren Fawr mountain biking trails. It is also an ideal location for visiting Cardiff, Swansea and the heritage coastline of South Wales with its picturesque towns and award winning beaches. The Brecon Beacons National Park is also within easy reach. We welcome well behaved dogs.

Our cosy cottage on the edge of Blaengarw village, in a valley surrounded by mountains, and small lakes. Amazing walking country on the doorstep with dramatic views, and we are dog-friendly (but sorry, no cats). Real fire, Netflix, DVDs & books for huddled nights in. Great cycling with riverside rides and mountain trails. Shop, pub & takeaway in the village. Designer outlet, Odeon cinema, nature reserves and castles all a short drive. And we live round the corner for any advice or help!

This well equipped cottage can sleep up to 5- ideally 2 adults and 3 children with one double bedroom, a small twin bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor and mezzanine with a single bed. The single beds are slightly narrower than standard. Enjoy your own private hot tub. Visitors are welcome to explore our dairy farm and woodland. Lots to see and do in the local area.

The cottage sleeps 4 people and boasts an original stone Inglenook fireplace with a log burner set inside and original beamed ceilings.There is a large private south-facing back garden with garden seating . Just a short stroll from the house is a local pub serving real ales and hot food. The beaches of Porthcawl or Sker are only a few minute's drive or 30 minutes to the Gower coast.
