We have some surprises for you at Gateway Cottage! We hope you'll come share them. It's the historic homeplace for a family of seven who lived here for 100 years. It's now a blend of farmhouse and contemporary. This cottage is also a blend of country and town, with plenty of space to spread out, relax, walk our 3 acres, view mountains, and watch the deer. Need something you might have at home? I bet we've thought of it! You'll be surprised to find how well-equipped Gateway Cottage is.

Triple Crown Cabin w/ Trout pond!

Amazing handcrafted cabin located in the center of the "Roanoke Triple Crown" (McAfee's Knob, tinker cliffs and dragons tooth trails) just minutes from each trail head. Cabin is tucked away from everything. No other houses can be seen from the cabin. The cabin overlooks a beautiful pond with a small waterfall cascading in. Cabin was sustainability built with trees from the 20 acres it sits on. McAfee's Knob trailhead is 10 minutes away, Andy Layne trailhead to tinker cliffs is 9 minutes away.

Tiny house & hot tub, w/gorgeous mountain views!

Peaceful tiny house with amazing view of Sharp Top Mountain! Features: hot tub, outdoor dining area, small kitchenette amenities, and smart-tv w/firestick (must use your hotspot to stream). 10 min to BR Parkway, Peaks of Otter, and Claytor Nature Center. Wineries, orchards, and hiking nearby. Friendly dogs may occasionally visit from my mother’s house next door. (Look for Wind Tides Farm sign). ***If booking in winter months, keep in mind the wind tends to be heavy, depending on weather.***

Set in the beautiful Alleghany Mountain Range, the Cabin On The Creek is a custom-built luxury cabin with amazing views and access to Potts Creek on a private wooded property. Multiple outdoor areas to enjoy the sights and sounds of the creek include the back porch, observation deck with Adirondack chairs, and walking path that leads to a stunning view of the Potts Creek “Sinks.” Enjoy the tranquil natural environment as you make use of the outdoor grill, picnic area, fire pit, and hot tub.

Escape and relax in our spirit of the southwest themed cabin in the mountains. Enjoy your own cabin equipped with a kitchenette, queen bed, sofa, tv, dining table, private bath with tub and a patio to enjoy your morning coffee while watching the ponies and nature. Close to the Blue ridge parkway, the AT trail and Peaks of Otter. Please note this is a SMOKE & ALCOHOL FREE property as a wellness retreat. Not a party place. NO PETS or CHILDREN. Welcome to Downtown Buchanan, this perfect loft gives you the option to walk anywhere in downtown, but also be nestled inside your own private space. This modern 2 queen size bed loft has all of the amenities you could possibly imagine. Keep in mind, some areas inside the loft are lower in clearance that may require ducking since it is a loft. We offer a kitchenette & work study. This loft is two blocks away from the James River/park. Also a near by store to rent kayaks, tubing & more!

The Little Gallery House, near Natural Bridge, is part of an old Civilian Conservation Corps Camp, then juvenile detention center, now a campground and artist community, called Thunder BRidge. There are 100 acres to explore, bordering the Jefferson National Forest, with hiking trails and just 2 miles from the James River. This would be an ideal place for family to meet if some of you want to camp and others would like a real house. There is a queen bed and a day bed.

Get away to the country in beautiful Montvale. We are 1.7 miles off US460 between Roanoke and Bedford. We have views of the Peaks of Otter, horses across the street, and nearby hiking trails. Our private 2 bedroom apartment is a great place to relax and unplug. Fully functional, furnished kitchen with microwave, fridge, full size stove and Keurig. We are 30 minutes to downtown Roanoke, 40 minutes to Lynchburg, 20 minutes to the Peaks of Otter. No pets please.

Otterview Mountain House

Otterview has one of the most incredible views in the state, a huge deck, and a pond. The house is open format with 3 bedrooms, a top-of-the-line kitchen, cozy living room, and an extraordinary great room. Look out at the Peaks of Otter, enjoy incredible sunrises and sunsets. You are welcome to grill out on the Blackstone, enjoy the fire pit, and relax on the dock. There are two miles of trails on the 37-acre property with their own trail signs and map.
