Whether you're relaxing in the beautiful king sized bed cubby, lounging 8' above the forest floor surrounded by pillows and blankets on a massive 6' x 12' netted hammock deck, or taking a bath or rain shower on the semi-enclosed tub deck, this romantic treehouse is where luxury and comfort meet fun and fantasy.

Host awarded with "Tyler Short term rental named No. 1 in Tyler Area for 2018". The Enchanted Cottage, a Rustic/Modern cabin built on a fairly steep slope under a canopy of towering hardwood trees w/ Waterview of Lake Palestine. We custom built w/ local woods: cypress, cedar, white & red oak, & pine. Look for the Bald Eagle on the porch. 0ur theme is interesting places out of classic films. On her first visit, my mother suggested the name from the Classic film-The Enchanted Cottage 1945.

This newly built home sits on two acres of lakefront property. Only an hour outside of Dallas but feels miles away from everything. Whether it is relaxing in the spa, pool, playing pickleball, having coffee on the back porch, enjoying the firepit or kayaks… This place has it all! It’s truly a secluded, beautiful place to unwind and relax with family and friends. Prior to booking with us, I want to state that the spa is not a hot tub. So if it is below freezing it can’t be run. Thank you!!!

If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing place where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets, soak in the hot tub under the stars, and chill and grill, this is it! It’s a cute and comfy 2-bedroom, one bath cabin on Cedar Creek Lake. Easy access to the water for swimming. Kayaks and Paddle boards available. JetSki is available for longer term (3-6 month) rentals. The home is on half an acre with open water. Pet friendly as the property is totally fenced in. There is a $70 pet fee per trip.

Maybe I'm a little partial, but I really have to pinch myself when I go visit Callie's cottage. Imagine...a beautiful country road, quiet except for the occasional sound of a cow. A cottage tucked into an abundance of trees, wrap around porch, flagstone firepit area, patio lights strung across the yard, antique mantle with gas fire, crystal chandelier, beadboard from an 1800's farmhouse, a tub big enough for two, the lushest bedding, classical music plays, sweets served. Deep sigh.
