It is quiet and serene and yet within walking distance to a lively cafe which serves excellent meals. It is 15 mins to the beach and 5 mins to the lovely town of Caldas da Rainha.

One of the 3 apartments in a traditional Portuguese house this unit occupies the whole 1st floor and features a long balcony, however it does not have a garden space. 300m to the nearest restaurants and a small supermarket. Ideal for active and cultural holidays, with perfect location for watersports (kitesurfing and surfing).

In our lovely quinta "Quinta Horta da Rosa" our holiday cottage “Casa do Forno” is a small cosy renovated old bakehouse. There are beautiful original features such as the old fireplace and the opening of the former oven. In between the two cottages there is a large terrace under a huge vine that provides shade all day long. At night relax on the sofa outdoors underneath the fairy lights hidden in the vine. Outside you will find an outdoor kitchen, and a barbeque.

La plage vous attend et vous pourrez choisir entre l'eau plus chaude de la lagune ou les vagues de l'océan. Vous avez aussi à votre disposition une piscine privée qui bénéficie d'un ensoleillement de 11h au coucher du soleil (exposition sud-ouest)

It is much more than just the house, the comfort, the fireplace & the calmnness, it is also about the place, the empty beaches, the sunsets, the fish, & the vast lagoon. ...and our 3 children love it.
