Note: It can be a slushy or snowy 3-min walk up through the trees in the winter. Assistance with luggage and supplies can be provided.

The locally sourced charred cedar cabin is truly one of a kind in this area. This one bedroom cabin functions as a home with kitchen. The view is truly incredible. Tucked up on the mountain side: a scenic 10 minute drive from Nelson, 20 mins to White Water ski resort rd. Enjoy golf, fishing all the beauty, adventure and amenities the Kootenay’s have to offer.

The Caravan

Enjoy a memorable and unique experience in the 'Caravan', a tiny home built on the back of a 1967 International Loadstar. Cozy up and read a book in the spacious loft bed or take a bath in the outdoor tub (May - Oct). Have a romantic getaway, or bring your family of 3 and make use of the twin futon. Walk or ride your bike right out the door on our trails and take in one of the classes or events at For-rest Retreat. Salmo is the perfect place to stay and explore the beauty of the Kootenays.

Log Home Guest Suite on 12 Acres in Nakusp

Stay in our spacious, rustic log-home guest suite in a peaceful and private setting, surrounded by a rock-walled flower garden and a forest of fir, larch and cedar trees. Enjoy a partial view of the mountains from the patio. Visit our hobby farm and say 'hi' to our friendly animals :) We are located on the edge of town, just 5 mins away from cafes, stores and the beach in scenic downtown Nakusp. We are only a 3 min drive to the golf course and 20 mins to the Nakusp hotsprings.

A 10-minute drive from the slopes of Red Mountain Resort, Rossland Bike Retreat is the perfect jumping-off point for your adventure in the Kootenays. 10 x 10 tenting pad nestled between 2 large creeks on a little peninsula in the forest. Listen to the creeks as you fall asleep...they're only a few feet away! Bring your own tent and camp supplies. 10 minutes drive west of Nelson. Wifi and full, modern, shared bathroom available 24/7 in the main residence waiting area. Please read detailed descriptions before booking as this is a non conforming accommodation. Animal lovers will enjoy meeting our sanctuary animals :)
