Sip your coffee on the deck and maybe the local moose, elk or deer will pay you a visit. Wildlife you won’t miss- mosquitoes. Enjoy your stay in our mosquito-less mountain.

Come enjoy our private 5 acres of Pinon trees with the convenience of being 5 minutes from town. Enjoy the joys of children on property and views of incredible mountains with the wildlife that frequents our "back yard". Relax in our private guest area locked off from the rest of our home including a kitchenette and laundry area, all separated from the rest of the house by a custom built and locking doorway. We accept dogs but cannot accept cats due to other guests’ allergies. There is a pet fee.

Treed 2 acre property with mountain views & park-like setting with 2 private decks in addition to a shared "community deck" with seasonal creek (Apr-Oct) & meadow. Please note the basement of the airbnb is privately locked off for storage and the acreage is shared with a separate house. Only 100% cotton sheets & natural detergents, no scented sprays used. This secluded riverside location is just the place for a quiet and comfortable getaway, 3 miles from downtown Salida. Our rural setting is beautiful in every season, offering views of the mountain valley as well as direct access to fishing easements on the Arkansas River. The private suite is an addition to our home with its own exterior entrance, bathroom, kitchenette, and small dining area. This space is most comfortably used by 2 adults with children, or 3 adults sharing the suite.
