You can sit, unwind, and watch the wildlife with a distant view of Bald Knob Cross. The cabin sits in the heart of Shawnee National Forrest and the Southern IL wine trail. Enjoy a drink on the large deck overlooking the picturesque landscape as well as the lake. If you enjoy fishing then this stocked lake is the place for you. Feel free to fish on the bank or the dock. This cabin is part of the original homestead that was established in 1855 by Valentine Kimber. Located close to wine trails and interstate 57.

This spacious cabin features a comfortable King bed, 55” TV above a gas fireplace, and recently had a top to bottom renovation! The spacious back deck features a large hot tub just steps from the back door, hooks for the provided terry cloth robes, and a Weber grill.

Just 2 miles down the road from Bald Knob Cross of Peace. This studio style cabin was recently renovated and has a fully functioning kitchen. Bald Knob Cabin is the ideal location to unplug and put your feet up after a long day hiking trails or traveling the Shawnee Wine Trail that flows through the cozy, inviting town of Alto Pass.

Come enjoy your stay at our comfortable 4 bedroom lodge. The lodge has 3 large private bedrooms, each with a queen bed, the 4th bedroom has 2 twin beds. The lodge has a maximum occupancy of 8 people with 2 full bathrooms. The lodge is perfect for a family vacation, reunions and couples. 2 TVs with satellite, and a DVD on 1 TV (bring your favorite movies). A hot tub, gas grill, fire pit, fishing pond (bring your own fishing equipment) and an open lounging deck is available.
