Or if you prefer a more active break we provide a double kayak, (including life jackets) and paddle boards, and can suggest beautiful areas for walking. The property backs onto a reserve with space for parking so please enquire if you would like to bring your boat. Safe swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding are within view and only a 2 minute walk away.

The best views in New Zealand! Our stunning architecturally designed home has 180degree views of Mercury Bay, offering guests a very comfortable stay. You have full privacy and access to your own unit and bathroom, as well as a full private deck/balcony just for your use. We provide coffee, tea, milk, cookies, cereal for guests and a mini-fridge for your use. Please note there is no access to kitchen facilities (but we have fabulous local restaurants we can recommend!).

The Lookout

The Lookout is a stand alone guest cabin located on an elevated private 10 acre property just 5 minutes drive to Cooks Beach. Situated next to regenerating bush, it offers views through to Mercury Bay Winery, the Purangi Estuary & beyond to Mercury Bay itself. Entirely self contained, The Lookout is lined with warm natural timbers and has a comfortable queen size bed. It is good for couples, friends, solo adventurers and people with pets (1 dog only). It is an easy 15 min walk to the shops and 20 mins to the beach. Cathedral Cove, Hot Water Beach and Whitianga are all within easy reach.
