The nearby towns of Paonia and Hotchkiss offer a variety of restaurants and music venues, along with the local Bar and Grill, where you can mingle with the locals. Want to bring your horses? This delightful little home has been recently remodeled and will provide a cozy living space for up to eight guests. We are 5 minutes to Crawford Reservoir State Park and short 20-minute drive to the north rim of the Black Canyon, a must see. Crawford is a part of the “North Fork Valley Creative District” along with Hotchkiss and Paonia. There are many art galleries, wineries and orchards to explore in these areas, so be sure to plan some fun excursions to these unique establishments.

The Solargon

The Solargon is inspired by elements of Asian yurts, Navajo hogons and Native American hidatsa lodges. Combined with passive solar design principles, the solargon is an octagonal structure designed to take full advantage of the sun.
