Although updated with modern plumbing, electric, and even central A/C, the house was built in 1910 so please don’t compare her to new construction, there are plenty of old house quirks. Our 5 star ratings are because we give exactly what we promise, not a 5 star hotel but a clean, comfortable “home away from home” when visiting this exceptional area of Ohio.

You'll surely fall in love with this cozy rental! There is a sandstone patio, which offers a shaded sitting area and grill for outdoor cooking, plus a fire ring for evening bonfires.

The Bronson Barn is located on the grounds behind the home that was originally owned by H.V. Bronson who initially plotted the town of Peninsula. Nestled in the heart of the park, it is walking distance to restaurants, shopping, train depot and bike rental. The national park has hundreds of miles of hiking trails, biking trails, river walks or kayaking, amazing waterfalls, and nature walks to see wildlife. You can also enjoy the ski resort located a few miles away for any winter sports!

We do our best to keep it running year around. We do not consider this to be tied to the pricing of the cabin should it become unavailable.

The neighborhood is Akron’s international district, several Nepali restaurants near by and you can attend the music and craft events just down the street. It is well suited for families and cozy enough for one. We’ve added A hot tub, a grill, picnic table and fire pit.
